2. To bury the sensor in the soil, see Figure 82 on page 93:
a. Make a hole with a shovel to a depth a little deeper than
desired installation depth of the sensor.
b. To get good sensor contact with the soil, position the sensor
horizontally into the hole and push the sensor into the wall of
the hole (to the direction of the arrow in Figure 81 on page 92)
until the measurement rods are fully in the soil.
